Krav Maga - Parent and Child - A unique program designed to train children together with their parents. The program enables children to learn and practice Krav Maga, an Israeli self defense technique, and expand fitness skills at the highest level of effectiveness

Young children highly benefit from one on one attention. Give your kid the one to one attention he needs!

In this Dynamic program both you and your child will learn self-defense. The program combines games and activities that improve self-defense skills and fitness abilities of parent and child alike

Introduction course starts in March in the JCC Palo Alto, includes 4 sessions of 1 hour.

  • Dates: March 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
  • Time: Ages 6-8 at 9:00am, Ages 9 and older at 10:00am
  • Cost: $80 for JCC members, $120 for non members

And the best part? It’s a great way to bond with your child and enjoy the best quality one-on-one time. In this course you can develop a hobby that is healthy and fun! You can even practice at home

Lotar Krav Maga

Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israel Defense Forces but also has being taught to thousand of civilians in Israel and other countries. Krav Maga is very efficient and lethal, it trains to deal any attack or fighting situation. Krav Maga is built on natural movements and instincts, therefor it is very practical and everyone can learn and practice.

Lotar Krav Maga is a unique system that being taught in the Israeli Elite Forces.
It combines Krav Maga with Full Contact and Asian Martial art techniques in order to improve fighting abilities and to handle more complicated scenarios.

I served as a fighter in the counter terror unit and as the Head of KravMaga and fighting trainings in the "Lotar" - The counter terror school of IDF.
I was member in the team who redefined Krav Maga for the elite forces.

Meijin Kai- MMA

Meijin Kai is a holistic martial art using the most efficient technique in every range of the fight. From standup kicking and punching to ground grappling. The goal is to allow the fighter to adjust himself to any situation against any warrior. This can be achieved only when fighter has both technical and mental abilities as well.
Although Meijin Kai has a very structured curriculum and requirements, it enables the martial artist to leverage his abilities according to his character and physical structure; controlling the pace of the fight and his opponent.
Meijin Kai is well connected with Israeli and international association such as:

  • The International federation of "Pankration Althima"
  • The International karate do Hachiokai association
  • Casquinha "top brothers" Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
  • UFI- Israel Ultimate Fighting Federation

Meijin Kids

Unique program developed for kids, which is based on two of Meijin Kai's main foundations: Combat Karate and Krav Maga, With combination of training system which includes dozens of destined exercises and plays designed to improve the Kid's motoric abilities. Besides the all well known advantages of the traditional Karate, such as focus, discipline, strengths and many others; Krav Maga adds a realistic, practical and efficient dimension; an array of techniques that allow the kid to defend himself in almost any situation.

The program has been developed during the last 22 yeas and has proven experience among thousands of kids in Israel; the sessions are dynamic, keeping the kid focused and interested; lesson combines direct martial arts practice and indirect trainings ; Shlomi Katz has more than 15 years of experience with training kids;
Some of them in older ages became champions in Full Contact Karate, MMA, Grappling, Pankration and kick-boxing in Israeli and European competitions. But it's important to emphazise - a self development is the goal ! not competitions.

Ages 8-9 on Thursdays 3:45-4:30 pm
Ages 10-13 on Monday, Thursdays 4:30-5:30 pm
Ages 14 and above on Monday, Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm
